About the role
We are currently seeking a Head of Employee Experience to join Laing O’Rourke in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth. In this role, you will lead change in how our people experience all stages of their career at Laing O’Rourke. In particular, designing and implementing employee engagement initiatives, transforming reward and recognition process and managing all aspects of the remuneration and benefits program to ensure alignment with and contribution to business strategic objectives.
This role offers flexibility and could be part time (Ideally 4 days per week) or full time.
Key responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement to employee experience.
- Design and deliver employee engagement, culture and diversity initiatives.
- Design and develop experience metrics, dashboards and insights to support strategy and enhanced employee experience.
- Design and implement employee reward initiatives creating culture and driving behaviours which contribute directly to our ability to achieve our transformation objectives.
- Identify and develop priorities within the reward area to enhance our Laing O’Rourke transformation strategy.
- Lead the annual salary and bonus review cycle.
- Lead the benefit program, ensuring it aligns with how we choose to support our people at various stages of their lives.
- Responsible for managing relationships with and renewals of service providers.
About you
- Experience in human resources preferable.
- Highly analytical skills drawing conclusions from complex data sets.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Proven ability in managing sensitive and confidential information.
- Possess intermediate knowledge of the construction and engineering sectors and/or intermediate experience in a professional services environment.
- Experience in leading change programs.
- Significant remuneration experience, including developing and leading variable compensation programs.
- Experience in Process Design, process mapping and interpreting and understanding data to create valuable and practical insights and recommendations.
- Project management experience including planning, organising, coordinating and executing.
- Experience in influencing a diverse range of stakeholders.
